We are thrilled to announce that this morning, our organization, Phone-Free Denton ISD, was mentioned on air by Craig Miller on The Ticket radio station in Dallas! Craig Miller, a distinguished radio personality who began his career in Denton and graduated from the University of North Texas, discussed the pressing issues facing young people due to smartphone usage while talking about the book, The Anxious Generation, by Jonathan Haigt.

During the segment, Craig highlighted the growing concerns about the impact of smartphones on our youth. We are grateful that he brought attention to this critical issue and mentioned our advocacy efforts at Phone-Free Denton ISD. Last night, I tweeted Craig Miller to express my support for his discussion and to share that our parent-led group is working diligently to encourage Denton ISD to adopt a stricter cell phone policy.
